Garyu Dragon (BP06)

With BP06 on the verge of release, I thought I would show you my version of this fun deck! Garyu Dragon is a deck that focuses on utilzing Garyu's evo to put any 5 cost onto your board and Garyu's passive effect that gives ALL Dragoncraft followers Ward! The main goal is to either use Wyrm God of the Skies' EX Area effect to buff a follower by +4/+4 paired with God Bullet Golem to deal massive damage to your opponent's leader or when your opponent is low, to use Phoenix Empress as a mostly indestructable ward with Garyu since it can bring itself back at the cost of a max PP and then swing for game on your turn. This deck mostly consists of control tools to prolong the game, allowing you to build up a bunch of max PP for the end game. Filene + Whitefrost Whisper are 2 powerful new cards that will help control early to late game. Emissary + Dragon Summoner help you get your high cost cards for mid-late game. Jadelong is a good storm that also buffs followers and Draconir is great for buffing Garyu/Filene or anything you will use as a ward via Garyu. Shapeshifting Mage's spots can be swapped around but I decided to stick with it to help early game while also benefiting off of Overflow + Wyrm God to make it a 9/9. You can also use Ice Dancing Dragonewt for extra storm damage that can ignore ward. For other good options in this deck, you could trade God Bullet for Forte and Shapeshifting for Aiela/Sibyl of the Waterwyrm. Then, run 2 Ice Dancing and 1 Phoenix Empress instead of the 3 copies of Wyrm God. You would get more value out of storm damage and get more ways of achieving max PP for Empress.
